Chris Whitcombe
Managing Director & Chief Information Officer
Chris started his career as a graduate developer with telecoms giant BT, before transitioning into the Fintech world. His previous roles have included Chief Technology Officer at Backbase and VP of Product Design at Monitise, creating software solutions for both the European and US markets. Attracted by the excitement and potential of a scale-up, LDMS gave Chris the chance to develop a fintech business in his native Cardiff.
He says: “I am in a wonderfully privileged position that my work is genuinely something that I love to do.”
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his young daughter and learning about aviation.
Adrian Hjertstedt
Chief Technology Officer
Adrian has held positions at some of the world’s most instantly-recognisable organisations, from IBM to 3M and served as Director of Backend Technology at Backbase before joining LDMS.
A true problem-solver, it is rare to find anything within LDMS’ code or systems that Adrian hasn’t previously worked on. He enjoys continuously improving systems and processes, and it is the next phase of growth that excites Adrian most.
Outside of work, Adrian enjoys exploring new hobbies, including painting and sailing.
Andrew Lammiman
Head of Product Engineering
Andrew has held senior positions at some of the biggest companies in Cardiff including: Principality, Sonovate and Sorenson Media.
Andrew is a firm believer in empowering team members to expand their skill set and to think about the why and not just the what.
Outside of work, he enjoys camping, being in the outdoors with his dog and even brewing his own beer.
Nigel Smith
Head of Professional Services
Nigel’s extensive experience has seen him manage third-party programmes for the likes of Apple and Amazon on behalf of Barclays Partner Finance. But looking for a fresh change after 11 years, Nigel was drawn to the open, collaborative culture of LDMS and enjoys the agility and ownership that comes with working in a smaller company.
Outside of work, Nigel spends a lot of time supporting his football-mad daughter at matches and taxiing her to practice.
Ceri Prichard
HR Manager
Inspired by a work placement while still a teenager, Ceri carefully mapped out a career path into HR, choosing to study Business and Human Resources at Cardiff University and later gaining experience in both in-house and agency recruitment.
Ceri joined LDMS in 2019 and has been instrumental in the company’s growth. She has been responsible for the recruitment of colleagues across the business. Seeing this incredible culture grow and develop with every new hire is one of Ceri’s proudest career achievements.
Outside of work, Ceri enjoys spending time with her two young children and horse riding.
